About Owen

Hello! My name is Owen, and I am excited to help you achieve your academic goals in physics and advanced mathematics. I am a 23-year-old graduate of the University of Virginia with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, where I graduated with a GPA of 3.84. Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Virginia, specializing in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

With my strong academic background and a passion for teaching, I am dedicated to providing personalized and effective tutoring to students of all levels. I bring not only expertise in the subjects I teach but also a commitment to fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for physics and math in my students. About the lesson

My teaching method is centered around an interactive and student-focused approach. I aim to make complex physics and math concepts more understandable by breaking them down into simpler parts and relating them to real-world examples. I incorporate technology and online resources to enhance the learning experience and keep students engaged. My experience as a teaching advisor for undergraduate ordinary differential equations for 3 years has honed my ability to explain challenging concepts clearly and effectively, which translates to all levels of math and physics.

My PhD studies, combined with my background in mechanical engineering from UVA, equips me with a deep understanding of physics and math, which I can convey with clarity and enthusiasm.
