About Steve
I have been teaching lessons in New York and Dallas for about five years, mostly starting off with younger kids and now up to college aged students. I can teach someone how to simply play along with songs they like, or delve into the intricacies of rhythms in a modern jazz context.

I am an Upright Bassist and Composer living in New York. I received instruction at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music under some of the finest educators in the city, and studied privately with some of the most on demand musicians in the Jazz world. I currently tutor students at the New School in all levels of Theory, Ear Training, Rhythmic Analysis, and Sight Reading.
