About Toay
Hi, I’m Toay — an artist, educator, and a passionate crocheter with over 15 years of experience teaching both kids and adults in India and now in Canada. I’m also a proud mother to a little one who inspires me daily to keep creating with joy, patience, and imagination. What started as a quiet hobby in my teen years soon became my comfort, my creative outlet, and now my career. I believe crochet is more than just yarn and patterns — it’s a meditative, empowering art form that teaches focus, patience, and the beauty of handmade creation. I’ve hosted group classes, led creative workshops, and seen how even the most hesitant beginner can bloom with just a little encouragement. As a mother and an artist, I know how hard it is to make space for yourself — and that’s exactly what I offer in my classes: a space to unwind, express, and grow through creativity.
