Hi there! I am Vera, a current law student at UNSW.
Before coming to study in Sydney, I graduated from a top-tier academic background in China. (Top 2% 985/Double First-Class universities in China)
With a National Mandarin Certificate (Level 2-A), I’m here to help you find your "standard voice." We’ll work on your rhythm and tones together until you speak with the elegance and clarity of a native speaker.

1. Tutoring Approach & Methodology
My approach is to make learning process interesting and to create a thought-provoking and encouraging environment for kids. Rather than rote memorization, I believe in "Learning by Using." With a TOEFL score of 108(IELTS 7.5), I can explain "the why" behind Chinese phrases in perfect English, making the transition easier for native English speakers.
2. Teaching Experience
As private mentor, I provided specialized tutoring for primary and middle school students in China, including teaching pronunciation, essay writing, Classical Literature.
3. Key Achievement
*My students successfully learned standard Pinyin and basic sentence structures.
*Using my broadcasting background, I help students overcome the "fear of shyness" by practicing standard pronunciation and rhythmic reading.
