About Owen
Hi! My name is Owen Yang, born in Guangdong, China but spent my college life in Taiwan and the US. Now I am a master student in UNSW business school. I am fluent in Mandarin, an official language both in mainland China and Taiwan. I used to work for FISU as an Interpreter in Universiade 2017, Taipei, Taiwan. Besides, I have taught Mandarin in the past 1 years and my students are mostly from EU, America, and Japan. Wish I can meet you soon also!!

The way I teach my student will focus on two parts. On one hand, I focus on practical oral speaking and Pinyin Texting because nowadays conversation is the new link between each other no matter on cellphone or Face-to-Face. On the other hand, I will also teach students about culture and even give them the chances to feel it because culture is one of the important parts of a language. Making the courses practical and interesting is my goal!
