  • When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

I developed a deep interest in psychology during my high school studies. I was a science student, but parapsychological curiosity was always there. I was good at solving problems between friends at school. My friends use to feel safe and secure sharing their feelings with me. I was always intrigued by human behavior and the complexity of the mind. It fascinated me how different individuals perceive the world, how emotions and thoughts shape their actions, and how psychological processes influence our overall well-being. As I delved further into the field, I realized the profound impact that psychology has on our understanding of ourselves and others. This realization sparked my passion and drove me to pursue a career in psychology.
  • What makes you passionate about your subject?

The subject of psychology is incredibly captivating because it offers profound insights into the human experience. It allows us to unravel the mysteries of the mind, explore the intricacies of human behavior, and discover the factors that shape our thoughts, emotions, and actions. What makes me passionate about psychology is the potential it holds to improve people's lives. By understanding psychological processes, we can help individuals overcome challenges, promote mental well-being, and foster healthier relationships. Witnessing the positive impact that psychological knowledge can have on individuals and society is what truly fuels my passion.
  • What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

Tutoring is a profoundly rewarding experience for me. I find great joy in helping students grasp complex psychological concepts and guiding them towards a deeper understanding of the subject matter. What I particularly enjoy about tutoring is the opportunity to make a personal connection with my students and witness their growth and progress firsthand. I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and developing critical thinking skills. As a "Superprof," I am committed to adapting my teaching methods to each student's unique needs, providing clear explanations, offering practical examples, and fostering a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.
  • Do you have any role models; or a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

Throughout my academic journey, I have been fortunate to encounter several inspiring teachers who have left a lasting impact on me. One particular role model stands out in my mind-a professor who not only possessed immense knowledge in the field of psychology but also had a genuine passion for teaching and mentoring students. This teacher had a remarkable ability to make complex theories accessible, engage students in lively discussions, and instill in us a deep curiosity for the subject matter. Their dedication to the growth and success of their students served as a constant reminder of the transformative power of education. I aspire to emulate their passion, dedication, and commitment to student learning in my own teaching practice.
  • What are your keys to success?

The keys to success in my field, as I see them, lie in a combination of passion, continuous learning, and empathy. Passion fuels the drive to explore, research, and discover new insights. It pushes us to delve deeper into the subject matter and stay motivated even in the face of challenges. Continuous learning is crucial in psychology, as the field is constantly evolving with new research and discoveries. As a psychologist, it is vital to stay updated and embrace lifelong learning to provide the best possible guidance to students. Lastly, empathy plays a vital role in understanding and connecting with individuals. It allows us to appreciate the unique perspectives and experiences of others, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. By integrating these elements, one can unlock their full potential as a psychology professor and make a positive impact in the lives of students.
