About Mae
My teaching methodology for piano focuses on communication, empathy, and positivity to create a supportive learning environment. In addition to piano, I also teach relevant subjects such as music theory and composition, integrating these topics into lessons to help students gain a well-rounded musical understanding. With 10 years of experience as a dedicated Piano tutor, I have had the pleasure of guiding over 300 high school and college students toward mastering this beautiful instrument. My passion for education goes beyond teaching music – it's about inspiring my students to discover their full potential and express themselves through the piano. I focus on creating personalized lessons that suit each student's individual goals and learning style, whether they aim to enhance their technique, performance, or musical theory. Throughout my career, I’ve celebrated many milestones, including preparing students for successful auditions, exams, and performances. The joy I see in my students when they master a piece or achieve their musical goals motivates me every day. I believe in building a positive, supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore their creativity. My goal is to help every student not just play the piano, but truly understand and appreciate music.
