About Akash
Hey there! I’m a Compiler Engineer at AMD in the UK, where I’m diving into the exciting world of high-performance computing with the Frontier supercomputing project. My job? I work on cool stuff like developing the new llvm-flang driver for Fortran and supercharging device code offloading with OpenMP in MLIR.
I’m all about compilers, program analysis, formal verification, and SAT solvers. I’ve got a master’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering, with a focus on software verification and formal methods in computer security. I’ve also tinkered with boosting compiler optimizations through better profiling.
