About Kayla
Hello! I’m Kayla, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with you. As a dedicated Middle School English Language Arts Teacher, I am passionate about creating a warm and inviting learning environment where every student feels valued and inspired.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in African and African American Studies, along with minors in History and Sociology from Claflin University. Most recently, I completed my Master of Arts in the Social Sciences with a focus on History at the University of Chicago. My educational journey has fueled my passion for teaching and my belief that education is a powerful tool for sparking curiosity, courage, and personal growth.
I truly believe that every student has unique strengths, and I am here to help you discover and develop them!
