About Nuheen
I am a qualified and experienced High School Science Teacher with a B.Ed. and M.Ed. and over 9 years of teaching experience supporting students in achieving strong academic results. My teaching approach is clear, structured, and student-focused, ensuring that every learner understands scientific concepts with confidence rather than memorizing without meaning.
I specialize in simplifying complex topics through step-by-step explanations, real-life examples, diagrams, and exam-focused practice. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving at their own pace. Each lesson is carefully planned, aligned with curriculum standards, and designed to strengthen both conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.

My approach to tutoring is student-centered, interactive, and concept-based, focusing on helping students understand science deeply rather than memorizing facts. I begin each lesson by assessing the student’s current understanding and identifying learning gaps. Then I explain concepts using simple language, real-life examples, diagrams, and step-by-step reasoning to make topics clear and relatable. I also use questioning techniques, short quizzes, and problem-solving practice to ensure active learning and strong retention.
I follow a structured methodology that includes clear explanation, guided practice, independent practice, and revision. I use visual aids, mind maps, and scientific experiments or simulations (where possible) to make learning engaging. I also encourage students to ask questions freely and create a supportive environment where mistakes are treated as part of learning.
A typical lesson is 60 minutes, but I can also offer 90-minute sessions depending on the student’s needs, exam preparation, or topic difficulty. Each session ends with a quick recap and homework or revision tasks to reinforce learning.
I hold a B.Ed. and M.Ed. and have 9 years of teaching experience as a Science educator. I have taught students in structured school settings and supported learners with curriculum planning, assessments, and exam preparation.
My lessons are designed for high school students (Grades 6–10), typically aged 11 to 15, including students preparing for school exams, board exams, or those needing extra support to improve understanding and performance in Science.
