About Aure
Hi! I'm Aura, a professional singer, songwriter, and vocal coach with 15+ years of experience performing, touring internationally, and collaborating with artists across a wide range of musical styles.
My musical journey has taken me through pop, soul, gospel, jazz, blues, folk, reggae, world music, and more. I've also studied Jazz Voice at the college and university level, while my earlier musical training gave me a strong foundation in musicianship and vocal technique.
What I love most about teaching is helping people discover what their voice is capable of—whether you're singing for the first time, wanting to build confidence, developing your technique, preparing for a performance, or pursuing music professionally.
My lessons are supportive, personalized, and judgment-free. I meet you where you are and help you develop at your own pace, combining vocal technique, gentle stretching, body awareness, breathing, mindset, musicality, and personal expression.
Because I've spent years performing and touring professionally, I can also help you take your voice beyond the lesson room: developing stage presence, connecting with an audience, using a microphone, preparing for auditions or performances, and feeling confident in your own sound.
I also work with singer-songwriters, helping them develop their vocal identity and bring more expression and confidence to their original songs.
For me, singing isn't about trying to sound like someone else. It's about unlocking your own voice, discovering what makes it unique, and giving you the tools and confidence to express yourself fully.
All levels are welcome—from complete beginners to experienced and aspiring professional singers.

Whether you're just discovering your voice, looking to become a more confident singer, or preparing to perform professionally, my lessons are designed around you, your voice and your goals.
I believe singing is about much more than hitting the right notes. It's about feeling connected to your body, understanding your instrument, communicating emotion and having the freedom to express who you are.
My teaching approach:
My approach combines vocal technique, gentle stretching, body awareness, breathing, mindset, musicality and personal expression. We work on developing a healthy, flexible and expressive voice while releasing unnecessary tension and building confidence.

I want you to understand your voice—not simply repeat exercises. You'll learn practical tools that you can continue using independently as you grow.
What happens in a lesson?
Every lesson is adapted to the student. We may begin with gentle stretching, grounding and breathing to release tension and connect with the body. From there, we'll move into vocal warm-ups and exercises designed specifically for your voice and current goals.
We'll then apply those techniques to songs and repertoire you enjoy, working on phrasing, musicality, interpretation and expression. Depending on what you're working toward, we can finish with performance coaching, improvisation, microphone work or other personalized exercises.
There is always room to experiment, ask questions and discover something new about your voice.
What sets me apart?
I bring 15+ years of professional experience as a singer and performer, including international touring and working with many different artists and musical styles.
My musical foundation includes classical training, but my professional career has been deeply rooted in contemporary and world music. I've performed and collaborated across pop, soul, gospel, jazz, blues, world music, reggae and more.
That experience has taught me how to move between different musical languages while keeping the voice healthy, expressive and authentic. I bring that real-world experience into every lesson—not just teaching vocal exercises, but helping you understand how to actually use your voice as a musician and performer.
Most importantly, I don't believe there is one “right” voice. My goal is to help you unlock and liberate the voice you already have, develop your skills and discover what makes your sound uniquely yours.
