Lesson Topic: Bonjour! Let's Start Our French Adventure!

Grade Level: K-11, Beginner French

Objectives:

· Students will be able to greet each other in French using basic phrases (e.g., "Bonjour," "Salut").
· Students will be able to introduce themselves using their name and age.
· Students will begin to recognize and pronounce French nouns, verbs, and alphabet letters.
· Students will start to understand basic sentence structures using "il y a" and "avoir."

Materials:

· Whiteboard and markers
· Flashcards with French vocabulary (e.g., greetings, nouns, verbs, alphabet letters)
· Short films or videos (e.g., French greetings, introductions)
· French music playlists
· Cooperative learning worksheets and activities

Lesson Plan:

I. Greetings and Introductions (5 minutes)

· Begin with a French music warm-up to set the mood!
· Use flashcards to teach basic greetings (e.g., "Bonjour," "Salut") and introductions (e.g., "Je m'appelle," "J'ai [age] ans").
