About Seungyeon

I am a University of Waterloo student majoring in Science and Aviation with a strong passion for teaching. I have prior experience as a peer tutor during high school, where I helped peers strengthen their understanding of math! I also graduated from an international high school with an IB Diploma. Whether you're struggling with a concept or aiming to get ahead, I am here to guide you with clear explanations, practice problems, and ongoing support. My main goal is to build confidence as it is just as important as mastering the concepts. I will try my best to make learning more enjoyable and effective!

About the lesson

My lessons are fully personalized based on each student's learning style and needs! Whether you prefer structured lessons with step-by-step explanations or a more interactive, problem-solving approach, I change my teaching methods accordingly. A typical lesson includes looking at key concepts and practicing problems. I encourage students to ask questions and actively engage both in and out of class. Students are always welcome to message me and ask questions outside of class as well! My goal is to make learning fun and effective, helping students build confidence in their skills.
