About Shaheed
I am a final-year Computer Science student at the University of Waterloo with a strong foundation in mathematics, programming, and analytical problem-solving. I enjoy turning difficult ideas into clear, manageable steps and helping students become more independent and confident. My approach is patient, organized, and responsive: I listen carefully, adjust the pace when needed, and use examples that connect with each student’s interests. I work with learners from Grades 1–12, from foundational numeracy and first coding projects to high-school math and programming preparation.

Every student learns differently, so I build each one-to-one lesson around their current level, schoolwork, interests, and goals. We begin by identifying gaps, then work through clear explanations, guided examples, and independent practice with immediate feedback. Math lessons can support Ontario curriculum topics, homework, tests, or enrichment from Grades 1–12. Coding lessons use age-appropriate projects in Scratch, Python, Java, or web development. As a final-year Computer Science student at the University of Waterloo, I connect concepts to practical problem-solving while keeping sessions patient, encouraging, and easy to follow. Students finish each lesson with a short progress summary and a focused plan for what to practise next.
