About Kayla
I am currently a Student at Oxford Brookes University studying Economics, Finance, and International Business. However, my passion on the side has always been playing sports. I am a currently apart of my uni's volleyball team and I have been playing for almost 6 years. I have played for both my middle school/highschool and at a club levels.

My teaching lessons will depend on the level of the student, beginner or intermediate. Please find a very general curriculum below:
1) Rules of the game
2) Movement of the ball
3) Throwing and Catching
4) Serving
5) Teamwork
These are the 5 basic frameworks of Volleyball. Each framework has different varying levels based off of difficulty and the prior knowledge of the student will determine the level in each framework.
My teaching style is very gentle, straight to the point, and adaptive depending on the student. I have been coached in a sport since I was 3 and I know someone being angry or frustrated is not effective. Additionally, talking too much can cause things to become more difficult because you may start to over think simple actions. Finally, everybody is different and learns in many different ways and that is why I have multiple approaches to all of my lessons.
