About Ashley
I am a Course Leader of a busy academic programme of study at a UK university with around 90 students per year. My goal is to ensure learners comprehend and develop the necessary academic writing, referencing and research skills required for university level study. Through my work, I have enabled students to improve assessment grades through ensuring academic conventions are adhered to ensuring learners produce high quality, understandable writing.

My teaching approach is underpinned by applicable teaching and learning theory with a strong emphasis on positive mentoring and development to improve a learners confidence and self-belief in their abilities to succeed. I largely teach students who have no prior university writing experience, therefore I am highly adept at ensuring the development of each learner.
