About ARNO
People do things because of various reasons. For me, I was inspired by my previous tutor, who is really passionate in teaching and cultivating students.
I strongly believe that my way of contributing to society is by instilling good values and logic ways of thinking into students, so that their minds can be more open and efficient. This is because I am the one who was changed.
In a tuition centre, I once taught Chinese primary kids, who study in SG, for 3 months
I also got A for A-Level Math, but I think for a primary-kid tuitor, fluent logic thinking and patience is more important than academic achievements...

Do you think the tuitions for primary school students are so so so expensive? I will charge lower than market price so that the lesson is affordable for every family!
Some teachers' lessons are very boring and slow-paced because they never catch the point of some questions(including some MOE teachers), and I will make you feel that the lesson is very worthwhile.
The lesson is usually 1.5 hrs, but sometimes I like to delay a bit.
(If the student can accept 2hrs it would be great, but there is no point being sleepy and bored in the last 30mins. Its a waste of money.)
The fee is negotiable based on the 1st lesson experience.
If you are from a low-income worker family, the fee is highly negotiable.
Teaching Style:
- What student need to do during class is just listen and discuss.
- Notes will be jotted down on board by me during class, and every knowledge point would be clearly stated in point form.
- The notes include every discussion, knowledge point and graph during class. And I will send you the note after lesson.
- Homework would not be a lot, but every knowledge point on the note should be remembered, otherwise I won't start a new topic.
- We will quickly go through the syllabus and starting doing papers asap.
