About Ananth
Hi there, I'm Ananth - an electrical engineering postgraduate based in Sydney, currently completing a Master of Professional Engineering (Electrical) at the University of Sydney.
Before moving to Australia, I completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Instrumentation with a CGPA of 8.44/10, graduating as one of the top students in my cohort, and then spent two years working as an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer in heavy industry - working hands-on with electrical networks, circuits, PLC and SCADA systems, and plant automation. My research has also been published through IEEE.
I genuinely enjoy breaking down technical topics and helping students build real understanding, rather than just memorizing formulas for an exam. Having gone through these subjects myself, and then applied them in a real industrial setting, I know where students typically get stuck and how to explain things so they actually make sense.
I'm patient, reliable, and happy to adapt my teaching style to whatever works best for you - whether that's working through textbook problems, preparing for an exam, or getting extra support with a difficult assignment.

My approach to tutoring is hands-on and example-driven. Rather than just working through formulas, I like to connect circuit theory and automation concepts to real industrial
systems, so you can see why a concept matters and how it's actually used in practice.
I build sessions around your specific coursework or assignments, starting with the fundamentals - Ohm's law, Kirchhoff's laws, AC/DC circuit analysis, and network theorems - and working up to more applied topics like control systems, PLC logic, and automation basics, depending on what you need.
Lessons usually run for 60-90 minutes, depending on how much material we're covering and whether we're working through problem sets, revising for an exam, or going deeper into a
specific topic. I'm happy to adjust the format and pace to suit you.
I'm currently completing a Master of Professional Engineering (Electrical) at the University of Sydney, after a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Instrumentation (CGPA 8.44/10).
