About Olivia
Hello!
I am a university student studying towards my Bachelor of Science at McMaster University.
I have been tutoring for several years, first as a volunteer at my high school's math clinic (where I fell in love with tutoring), and more recently as a private tutor for high school math students.
I have a genuine love for math, and my goal is to help students see the fun in solving puzzling math problems!

I am an experienced tutor providing math support for grade 8 to 10 math students.
A typical class with me will involve a review of what you covered in class, with personalized and detailed explanations for concepts you find difficult, to make sure that you feel confident in your learning!
I place great value not only on improving math grades, but also on promoting a positive attitude towards math and increasing academic confidence.

Olivia has been a great tutor for multiple years, for me and many others at my school. Through our math tutoring program at school she worked with many students, and later on helped me privately. I have recommended her to my younger cousin who ended the year 30% higher then he started. Thank you Olivia for being the best math tutor!
I worked with Olivia for a year and have seen her tutor countless students in math. She is an incredible teacher and is able to explain and break down concepts, making them super accessible and easy to understand. She's very patient and kind and has always received positive feedback from everyone she's tutored!
Olivia has a unique ability to understand mathematics and translate it into language that anyone can comprehend. She takes what is a frustrating subject for many, and turns failure into success!
