About Mari
My name is Mari, and I study biochemistry at Imperial College London. Biochemistry is an academically challenging degree, meaning that the maths and science I learnt at school is the foundation of my degree. I graduated high school with A*AA in my A-levels Maths, Biology and Chemistry respectively at A-level, and straight A/A*s at GCSE. I have been tutoring online for the past three years, with my most recent students just completing their GCSE's with amazing progress and results. As I'm a student just like you, I understand the struggles of the current education system, and how to get the best grades by implementing effective revision techniques. I've done this myself, and can help you do it too!

With my students I always start with a discussion with the student and their family, to create a course of action that best fits the students needs. This sometimes involves making a personalised revision plan for them. This meeting is also necessary to discuss the students goals, and the grades they want to achieve. I have many resources prepared from the years I have already been tutoring, but I ask my students to let me know in advance if they have a particular topic in mind so I can prepare accordingly.
My lessons are very flexible, to suit the needs of the student, but they all consist of reinforcing ideas learnt at school, active recall and exam question practice to best prepare you for your exams!
