About Tom
I have been tutoring students for several months now. My main focus has been on helping two A Level Governenment and Politics students with their revision, since they had not had a teacher in school all year. We worked hard to make their subject more manageable, and ensured that the lack of teaching in school did not disadvantage them.

I am a History and Politics student at the University of Nottingham. I give lessons to anyone from Primary education up to A2 in A Level. I like to focus on the core things a student needs to learn for their assessments. Using my past experience, I am able to isolate the most important aspects of a course to allow my students to improve their learning and revision to make it more beneficial to them in coursework and exams. I listen to what the student wants to learn and improve on, and with my advice we progress towards improving their understanding of the topics, and their ability to demonstrate what they have learnt well in an examination.
