About Fernando
I teach Piano and Musical skills. Somehow, learning to play an instrument or compose a piece is about familiarizing yourself with simple technical skills, altogether with a critical and analytical eye.
Currently, I work as a University Professor of Music in Madrid. I have more than 15 years of experience as a Professor in University and I have taught so far in in four continents:
- University of California (United States),
- University of La Rioja,
- German University in Cairo ( Egypt)
- American University in Cairo (Egypt)
- American University of the Middle East (Kuwait)
- Rey Juan Carlos University
- University of Southampton (United Kingdom).
I am a specialist in preparing students for the ABRSM (Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music ) in Piano and Music Theory. I firmly believe in hard work and determination in order to achieve the best results in music performance and creative thinking.
I am happy teaching beginners and advanced students.

Learning to play an instrument or compose a piece is about familiarizing yourself with simple technical skills, altogether with a critical and analytical eye. In my classes I ask my student to reflect on his / her performance and the skills needed to improve it. I also ask my students to create their own exercises and drills in relation to the difficulties they find in the piece they play or compose.
