About me!
My name is Anna, and I’m currently studying for an MSc by Research in Psychiatry at the University of Oxford. I studied as an undergraduate at UCL, graduating with a First Class Honours in Cell Biology. In sixth form, I undertook the IB, scoring 44 points. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, watching Brooklyn 99 and any sport in the water.

Approach to Tutoring:
My approach to tutoring centres around the idea that most students are capable of achieving if given the right environment, material and time. I believe in a patient and consistent approach to teaching where the student is encouraged to ask questions and make mistakes they may not feel comfortable making in a class setting.
Tutoring Experience:
I have a lot of tutoring experience, working with students from primary school up to university level, both paid and as a volunteer. I’ve helped students prepare for the 11+ exams and GCSE exams, as well as proofread and corrected IB coursework and essays. Initially, I began tutoring family friend's children for the 11+, having also helped my 3 younger sisters through the 11+ before this. As I entered sixth form, I was a volunteer tutor for the younger members of my school, helping them with their GCSE exam preparation. Most recently in my undergraduate, I was a peer mentor where I provided academic and pastoral support for the first years. My strengths lie in Biology having been in the field for the past 3 years as well as English and writing aid having undertaken 2 dissertation projects during my undergraduate.

I'm happy to teach students from the ages of 8-21, students looking to pass 11+, GCSE, IB (no A level) and university students within the field of biology.
