About Marc

I graduated PreMed with Distinction (GPA 3.94) at McGill University, and high school with a French Baccalaureate specialized in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Having scored in the 100th percentile (132) in the Physics/Chemistry section and in the 96th percentile (130) on the Bio/BioChem section on the MCAT, I know my topics, and love working with my students so I can help them achieve their academic goals. I believe my experience teaching tough topics to university students and in high school sets me apart and helps me understand each student's learning styles and habits. This way, I can better adapt my lectures to their specific needs. I am also an MCAT instructor at Wizeprep since April 2026.

As an ex Calculus II and General Chemistry tutor for McGill university, I believe teaching should be proactive, so I try to involve the student as much as I can during our sessions.
I believe my experience teaching tough topics to university students as well as in high school sets me apart and helps me understand each student's learning styles and habits, so I can better adapt my lectures to their needs.

A typical lesson starts with reading and understanding the topic, after which the student and I will dissect together some exercises. I then present some applications for the student to do on their own, so we can find weak points and concentrate on them. Finally, I like to give some work for the student to attempt in their own time, specifically targeting their weak points and key ideas of the topics we studied together.
