About Adam
I am a dedicated and professional English teacher specialising in IELTS preparation, conversational fluency, and confidence-building for adult learners. I have experience working with students from a range of backgrounds and levels, helping them improve not only their accuracy, but also their ability to communicate naturally and effectively in real situations.
My lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s goals. Whether you are preparing for the IELTS exam, improving your speaking skills for work or travel, or developing overall fluency, I focus on creating engaging lessons that balance correction, practical language use, and confidence.
As a teacher, I value patience, professionalism, and clear communication. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to take risks, ask questions, and steadily improve. I also place strong importance on pronunciation, natural expression, and helping students sound more fluent rather than simply memorising grammar rules.
Students can expect lessons that are interactive, and adapted to their individual strengths and weaknesses. My goal is not only to help students reach their language targets, but also to help them enjoy the learning process along the way.

I have been teaching the IELTS testing system to young adults and students in a University International school in Bangkok, Thailand for over 2 years.
My lessons are typically 50 minutes long, and centre on a single section of the exam. Either Writing, speaking, listening or reading. Each class will include speaking practice, vocabulary building and grammar correction.
These classes can be tailored to your needs, based on a short diagnostic test taken in the first session.
