About Reevo
I have been teaching for over 37 years now, so very experienced. Over the years, I have gotten positive responses from many students, who tell me that they have had a great learning experience, and that I have made a difficult subject easy to understand. It is my strong belief that many students who struggle with Maths has had a “bad Maths experience” in the past: e.g. the Maths teacher was hardly in class, or the Maths teacher was actually the History teacher, or that Maths can only be learnt by certain types of people, etc…. All very wrong! So if anyone is willing to spend time and consistently grapple with the concepts, Maths CAN be learnt! I have my own YouTube channel, on which I have posted teaching videos (Structures-based) since the Covid pandemic: many students have told me (and still to this day) that they have found my videos very helpful…even though I have never met them or taught them before! I find this truly rewarding! Teaching others is NOT about showing others how smart you are, but about: can you give someone a small nugget to chew on today, digest it, make sense of it, and come back tomorrow to continue the process? That is teaching and learning…and it takes BOTH the student and teacher to walk this journey together, and make sense of it.

I have teach mainly Maths-type subjects, with Applied Mechanics & Theory of Structures my strong subjects; very experienced, so I fully understand how to easily and quickly develop the student/teacher rapport, which improves student success; am proficient in English; can also teach Basic and Intermediate Excel and AutoCAD (both in South Africa as well as the UK, at Further Education College level); my students would ideally be mid-high school to first-year University.
