About Anumita
I am relatively new to tutoring but worked as a volunteer Latin teacher for two years, helping young pupils and beginners to get to grips with the daunting task of learning an Ancient language for the first time. I study Classics at uni and took both Ancient Greek and Latin at A Level. I also have a strong passion for all literature, ancient or modern. I believe in the importance of strong literacy skills for everyone!

I am willing to teach students of any level up to degree standard, especially pupils of secondary school age who are interested in Classics or simply want assistance in literary humanities such as English and History. I prefer to let my students have an active part in lessons, while providing a clear structure so that everybody is on the same page and you don't feel pressured to take the lead on a topic in which you are less confident.
