Elihu is incredibly hard-working, knowledgeable and good at teaching. We met because he was my Mandarin tutor. I learned a lot during my lessons with him as he always knew what approach to take to help me learn the specific skills I lacked. He is very patient and took time to go over the material that I struggled with. Elihu is very friendly and pleasant to talk to. As such, to learn, we often would chat about various topics but in Mandarin. That made learning so much more fun and engaging. Moreover, Elihu always kept track of what was covered in the lesson and wrote it down on a piece of paper I could take with me for revision later, which really helped.

He was a mentor for my Chinese class I believe for Chinese 1 through 4. He helped me in my Chinese 1 curriculum and went through everything and even helped me not be as nervous by not looking at me. Also sent me home with recordings so I can practice on my own too. He was also able to move the time slot when something came up last minute.
