About Callum
As a former International Baccalaureate student, I understand the very real stress of having a limited time to complete so many different tasks for various courses. That's why I try and focus as much as possible on how to give you the maximum value for your time. For example, I don't believe filling out endless sheets of maths problems is necessarily useful for gaining conceptual understanding-it certainly wasn't for me! I would instead provide a smaller number of challenging questions from each topic that we can spend more time individually focusing on, having already gone over the basics during a previous session. This way, your conceptual understanding will grow quickly without the unnecessary time consumption and associated stress.

About Me:
I’m a first-year Biology student at the University of Bristol and a graduate of the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme. I have 2 years of experience tutoring higher-level GCSE Maths, and I’m confident supporting students in both Maths and Science, having done Higher Level IB Maths and Higher Level IB Biology.
What I Offer:
Tailored lessons in KS3, GCSE, and IB/AS-level Maths & Science. Support with homework and conceptual understanding, exam-focused practice, and study tips that I’ve used myself to succeed. Supportive and approachable teaching style. I know what it’s like to be a student under exam pressure!
Location:
I offer in-person lessons in safe public spaces such as libraries, cafés, or university study areas in Redland, Cotham, Clifton, and central Bristol. I’m also happy to teach online via Zoom or Teams if that’s more convenient.
Rates:
£20/hr for KS3 students £22/hr for GCSE £25/hr for A-level/IB
