About Hetvi
I am Hetvi Joshi and first year medical student. Biology used to be my favorite subject since I was in my secondary school. But when I encountered with topics like genetics and biotechnology I started to fear with biology. But the main reason of my fear was the teacher who was teaching me the subjects I switched my tutor and I found that genetics is the easiest topic to be learned if taught properly with concepts. Many of you might be facing the same problem because of your teacher. So here I am to show you that if I can truly love this topic because of different way of how I learned, then I can make you love this topics as well because they are really interesting as it’s all about what’s happening inside the body, give me a chance, and I can prove it to you.

Often people consider biology as a subject, which is to be memorized, but the main thing is the topic, which you’re studying, for example, if you are studying botany then there is no other option than memorizing the examples. However, if we talk about genetics or anatomy, then there are hardly any topics which you have to memorize. Even if you are good at mindless memorization you would definitely not be able to do good in subjects like genetics, which is purely about concepts. Now talking about anatomy, if you have a perfect visualization in your mind, then you can crack it. For example, learning human heart circulation with diagrams would be much easier rather than trying to learn it with long paragraphs. So here I am to make you guys believe that biology is not about mugging facts. It’s about understanding the concepts and the diagrams and sometimes tricks to remember certain examples.
