About James
I have a lot of love for this subject. A whole lot of love, and a whole lot of passion. There is no better teacher than one who teaches out love; we should all know this by now. I truly don't know where I would be without literature, and to even talk about it brings me immense joy, so to educate on it is a real gift. I am completely on your level because of this. I'm not educating to prove something, to make ends meet, to fill an empty slot on a CV. I'm educating because I love this subject! And because I want you to love it too!

Let's face it: I'm a human, and you're a human. I'm not going to try to make you feel like there's any form of power imbalance at play, and I'm definitely not going to come at you like a brick wall of regurgitated information. Only a select few really learn that way. A lesson will typically be around thirty minutes, guided by you and supported by me, which is to say, I am here to help with your issues with the subject. To dictate everything so straightforwardly isn't going to help you, and we both know this. I have 3 A-Level A*'s in English, Film and History, and have so much more knowledge on literary subjects, solely through my own love for it. There is no better teacher than someone who really cares about what they're teaching. My lessons are best for those at high-school/GCSE age, but any ages from 10-18 are best suited, simply because of my personal level, but I know anyone of any age can have issues with this subject, so please feel free to send me a message and ask!
