My personal interests in linguistic studies and cultural research motivate me to influence others from an international perspective, introducing the language with both fun and profundity. I believe my patience and determination in teaching Mandarin to speakers at different levels will enable me to develop a meaningful pedagogical approach.
During the lesson, with a typical length of 1 hour, I will start with a 5-minute casual conversation to warm up and followed by a 25-minute content introduction. In this section, I will list topic-related characters and phrases, accompanied by interesting activities to practice speaking and writing. In the following 10-15 minutes of time, I will read the prepared paragraph and ask my student to read after me. This part of the lesson is about improving pronunciation and answering questions. The last part of the lesson is designed to wrap up and finish with commentary.
