About Emily
History has shaped our modern world and it is something that impacts us every moment of our lives, looking at it like this brings it to life. Often because History feels so far from our lives it feels irrelevant and out of reach but I think I am driven and passionate enough to encourage people to look at it in a new light, to see its continuous importance and also understand how to succeed in a course that can feel overwhelming at times.

History is a subject that cannot be confined by the curriculum, while I recognise that exam technique is crucial and an intrinsic part of the course it is important that students understand History beyond these boundaries! Whether by exploring certain elements in depth or going through exam technique, or both I am excited to teach history and share a keen passion of mine.
