About Nandini
I am Nandini. I study Economics and International Relations at the University of St Andrews. Teaching is something that I am passionate about because teaching was a method of studying for me. When I was younger I used to pretend to teach tables and chairs, but as I got older I used to teach my fellow classmates. This was essentially to help me study better but I realised how much I enjoyed it as well.

I recently graduated and scored an A* in Economics, so I understand exactly what it takes to excel and how exams are structured. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple parts. I don’t just teach theory; I use a technique of introducing a story or a scenario which connects to multiple exercises, so students can see the bigger picture and understand the material, not just memorise it. This allows them to think critically during examination. I also used to take classes for juniors at my school so I know the tips and tricks in teaching. I know what it’s like to face exams for the first time after school, and I aim to make learning Economics engaging and less stressful.
