About Mabel
I am currently studying at The London School of Economics (LSE) and am passionate about learning. I have a broad geographical and historical knowledge, as well as a comprehensive understanding of exam board requirements. Feel free to contact me regarding other subjects.
Through wide reading on these subjects I can add depth to class content as well as unpick revision techniques and how to ace exams!
My particular interests are in geopolitics, environmental migration and Amazonian deforestation (for which I achieved an A* in my EPQ on). In History, I am well versed in the Tudor period, The Cold War and twentieth century international relations - but most importantly the key essay skills, which are transferable.

I offer collaborative classes which focus on core understanding of the subject through conversation, revision and exam preparation.
A typical lesson is 1 hour; ensuring that students feel confident in their understanding of the content covered.
I have experience working as a Learning Support Assistant in a high school, so understand the importance of effective communication and learning methods. I also have very good knowledge of the UK university application system.
My lessons are for GCSE and A level aged students who need support with exams and/or stretching to higher level debate.
