About Lai
Hi! My name is Chi Kit and I am currently an undergraduate at SMU. I am passionate about teaching and I aspire to instill knowledge and confidence in all of my students. I believe that every student deserves a patient tutor who is able to explain all concepts in a digestible manner. With my experience and customized lesson plans, you will be able to follow along step by step in your journey to academic excellence. I also believe that learning should not be confined to tutoring hours, and thus all of my students have the permission to freely text me with any questions that they might have about their academics, and even in life!

I break down complex concepts into manageable parts, using real-life examples, analogies, and visual aids to help students understand and remember key ideas. I also believe in constant encouragement and patience to improve on passion for learning. - Typical length of a lesson is 1.5-2 hours as I believe that each lesson should be comprehensive. - 3 years of private tutor experience teaching almost all PSLE and O level subjects.
