Hi parents, I'm Erica. I recently received my high school diploma from Guangzhou's American International School. What makes me special is that I was once considered to be academically challenged. I went from having a primary school standing of 98/101 to making the honor roll in high school and being accepted to the University of California, Berkeley. Cantonese, and English are my native tongues. I have a solid understanding of Chinese (both simplified and traditional) and a fundamental understanding of Spanish. Tutoring in chinese reading, writing (composition), speaking, and interview/high school application is my primary area of expertise. I am patient, kind, and deeply committed to helping children. I also fully grasp the viewpoint of a struggling child or student. I can help kids who struggle academically regain confidence by tutoring them and by sharing the study strategies I've found to get to where I am now.
