About Lauren

As an online instructor of real estate courses, I am well versed in how beneficial the flexibility of online learning can be. I have always been a self-starter and have been reading and writing from a very young age.

No one is perfect, and I know that English/Language Arts can be anxiety inducing when you don't understand a word, the theme of a lesson, or what a question is expecting you to comprehend.

As an undergraduate education student, I have extensive knowledge of how to work through anxiety and find solutions and tools to maximize the learning in a session.

About the lesson

English is messy and difficult, especially when it does not make sense in your lessons. However, language arts can be a breeze when you are sitting in a quiet location trying to decipher it alone.

I use a combination of traditional learning methods like practice problems to reintroduce subjects with a new flair of interactive activity and games to supplement learning and retention.

We will begin a session assessing your understanding of the current topic to decipher where we will begin the reteaching of the topic in a real world and foundational way. We will proceed to apply this information through practice questions which will be the review for the games and activities to apply the information learned. Each session could be fun and different with my innovative way of introducing information.

Students from elementary to high school will benefit from these tutoring sessions.

Edward was receptive to learning and working through ideas. Edward is confident in guiding what he wants to cover and expressing that. Although the session was last minute and there was a level of anxiety and a need to rush, Edward was very receptive, positive, and understanding. Would love more time in the future to prepare for a session.
