About Sinan
Hello, I am Undergraduate student studying Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Maths: Maths is a subject, where progress can only be made, and maintained, on sound algebraic foundations. I aim to establish a solid Maths base with students, which also serves to build their confidence in the subject. This provides them with the framework for making strong progress, enjoyment of their Maths, the belief that they can succeed, and a platform for further learning. I also emphasise good Maths technique and habits, so that marks are not lost through unnecessary errors.
Economics: Economics is a subject where progress can only be made through a grounded understanding of the different models and theories.Therefore, I aim to establish a solid understanding of the different schools of thought and most importantly the assumptions that are integral to the models before attempting to teach the theory of any school of thought.This would provide the student with a strong framework to master the theoretical be it from a Classical or a Keynesian perspective.I also attempt to focus a great deal on exam technique, as this is critical to exam success.
