About Zaineb
Hi! My name is Zaineb, and I am currently a university student at the University of Saskatchewan. I am close to completing my first year in Biomedical Sciences, a degree I am very passionate about. I graduated high school in 2025 from Aden Bowman Collegiate Institute in Saskatoon, where I was part of the International Baccalaureate program. Being part of this program really shaped who I am now by inspiring my love for biological sciences, hence why I am so interested in teaching others about it.
Although biology may be challenging at times, these challenges have only further strengthened my drive to do well. This has allowed me to discover the key ways to have one's efforts reflect in their performance. I am very familiar with the "wall" many students encounter and my goal as a tutor is to break it down by sharing the tools and guidance that helped me succeed.

Through an initial assessment, students will be able to detail the things they struggle with in biology, so lessons and practice exams may be customized to meet their specific needs. Through active recall and personalized teaching materials, I will be able to take knowledge that students already possess and use that to build upwards in a manner that is engaging and interactive.
Structured sixty minute sessions would consist of four sections:
- 0:00-10:00: answering any questions from the previous session or problems encountered from homework
- 10:00-40:00: day's main topic using visual diagrams and verbal explanation
- 40:00-50:00: practice questions
- 50:00-60:00: general summary of key points, assigning goals for next session.
Having navigated a rigorous program like IB during high school and now moving onto university, I have developed the tools necessary to manage high-pressure academic environments, such as translating complex jargon and dense material into comprehensible and relatable concepts.
My lessons are targeted specifically towards students in middle school and high school (i.e. grades 6-12) with a particular focus on students in IB or AP. My schedule is structured to be available when students need help the most including over the school year or over the summer.
