About Ridah Zainab
Hi! I’m currently an Accounting and Finance student at University of Manchester with a strong interest in maths, finance, economics, and problem-solving. Having recently gone through exams myself, I understand how stressful studying can feel and how important it is to have explanations that are clear and easy to follow.
I’m patient, approachable, and enjoy helping students build confidence in subjects they may find difficult. I focus on creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel able to ask questions without judgement. My teaching style is supportive, adaptable, and centred around helping students truly understand topics rather than just memorising answers.
Outside of academics, I’m also interested in creativity, design, and communication, which helps me explain concepts in engaging and relatable ways. My goal is to help students improve both their understanding and confidence while making lessons productive and enjoyable.

My approach to tutoring focuses on helping students genuinely understand concepts rather than memorising methods. I believe many students struggle because topics are often explained in overly complicated ways, so I break difficult ideas down into simple, logical steps and explain both how and why they work.
As an Accounting and Finance student at University of Manchester, I understand the pressure students face during exams and coursework. I aim to create a supportive and comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and learning at their own pace. I adapt my teaching style depending on the student’s needs, whether that involves practice questions, visual explanations, or step-by-step walkthroughs.
I also focus strongly on problem-solving and exam technique, encouraging students to think independently and build confidence in their abilities. My goal is not only to improve grades, but also to make learning feel more approachable and less intimidating.
