About Phomolo
I am a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) graduate from the University of the Free State. I aspire to become a Constitutional Court Judge and to achieve this I expose myself to opportunities connected to the judiciary, legal research, arbitration, and internships.
Reading is fun, puppies are cute, and pancakes are delicious! These are three things I will always defend, including 'clean the seas, save the bees, and protect the trees'.
I am enthusiastic about teaching and spent a year teaching math, computer science, art, and health in Thailand after graduating from Law School. I have coached local and international students in debating, spelling bee, and story-telling competitions.

My teaching style is "blended demonstrator". This might sound weird, but hear me out... I enjoy blending the student’s interests and needs with the lesson and accommodating them to the best of my ability, I think this means I have a blended or hybrid teaching style. Through my coaching background, I often use a demonstrator teaching style where we include activities and demonstrations while displaying knowledge.
The first lesson is therefore, always an introductory one, where students and myself share interests, and expectations and from this first interaction, I personalise lesson plans for the students.
I am profecient and able to teach in English, Afrikaans and Sesotho. My passion lies in developing students' confidence in reading, academic writing, and public speaking, this means that my students will always have a platform to be heard. I cultivate a safe space for students to be aware it's okay to make mistakes, so long as we learn and grow from them.
