About Nur
As a postgraduate student in education, with a background in Teaching English As A Second Language (TESL), I bring a blend of academic expertise and practical experience to my lessons. I am proactive in my teaching style, ensuring that lessons are engaging, informative, and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on grammar and vocabulary, but I make sure the learning process is dynamic and enjoyable through a variety of interactive activities. My goal is for students to leave each lesson having learnt at least five new words. I understand the mindset of Generation Z, as I am part of it myself, and I know how to make lessons relatable and engaging for students aged 11-14. However, I am also committed to creating a structured and disciplined learning environment, ensuring that students not only enjoy their lessons but also make meaningful progress. With experience teaching students from diverse backgrounds, including China, Korea, and Malaysia, I can adapt my approach to suit different learning styles, helping each student build confidence and achieve their goals.
