About Lavanya
Hi! I'm Lavanya, a student at University College Dublin studying Economics and Finance. I have always enjoyed mathematics and analytical problem-solving, which are important parts of both my academic studies and future career goals.
Having recently completed my own secondary education, I understand the challenges students can face when learning Math and preparing for important exams. I believe that with the right explanations, practice and support, every student can improve their confidence and ability.
I am patient, approachable and committed to helping students learn at their own pace. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and are not afraid to make mistakes.
I am particularly interested in helping Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students strengthen their understanding of Math, improve their problem-solving skills and prepare effectively for exams.
As a UCD Economics and Finance student, I bring a strong academic and analytical background and a genuine enthusiasm for helping others learn.

I offer personalised Maths lessons for Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students. As a UCD Economics and Finance student, I have a strong mathematical and analytical background and understand the importance of building confidence alongside academic skills.
My approach focuses on making difficult concepts easier to understand through clear explanations, worked examples and plenty of practice. Each lesson is adapted to the student's individual level, goals and areas of difficulty.
Lessons typically last one hour and can include reviewing school topics, preparing for exams, improving problem-solving skills and working through past-paper questions.
My lessons are suitable for Junior Cycle students and Leaving Certificate students studying Maths at different levels. I aim to create a supportive and comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and improving at their own pace.
