About Trevor
My name is Trevor and I am a qualified and experienced teacher from the UK. I have been teaching for over twenty years in private and International schools in the UK and in Thailand. I have taught ESL classes, academic classes and have been a homeroom teacher at Primary and Secondary levels. I have also taught Citizenship, Values, PSHE, Design, and Business English to adults.
Over the last twenty years, living between the UK and Thailand, I have had considerable experience working with different school curriculums; American, British, IPC (International primary curriculum), and IB (International Baccalaureate). I have also held numerous roles such as; School Principal, Academic Director, Assistant Principal, Business Manager, Parent Relations, and Student Affairs Manager. I have also led two successful school accreditations with W.A.S.C. (Western Association of Schools & Colleges).
In addition, I have taught English online for over ten years. I always love teaching my students and can be described as super friendly, creative, motivated, very patient and ready to help. I have attended many workshops throughout my teaching career which have helped me to achieve excellent results with my students.
I believe that learning is a gift, and that students need to be steered, empowered, and motivated, so that they can recognize their own potential.
My Qualifications:
I have a degree in Interior Architecture from the University of Hertfordshire in the UK. I also have two teaching qualifications; a postgraduate degree in International Education (PGCEI) from Nottingham University, Uk and a CELTA (certificate to teach English to adult speakers of other languages) certificate awarded by the University of Cambridge. I also hold a diploma in Spatial Design awarded by the Bournemouth Arts Institute.

I believe in developing a good rapport with my students, so that they can then be in an environment where they don't mind making mistakes. I do this through exercising patience, being calm, allowing my students time, and taking students through the necessary learning steps. I also start out a lesson with learning objectives and reminding students of the topics taught at the end of the lesson. I also try to keep my lessons light and entertaining.
