About Natalie
With 8 years of teaching experience, I bring a deep passion for education and a well-rounded background to my work. I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in Education Leadership, further enhancing my skills to support students and foster positive learning environments. As a mom of three children, I understand the importance of patience, empathy, and adaptability when working with young learners. I hold a degree in Psychology with a focus on adolescent development, which has given me valuable insight into the social and emotional needs of students. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a Registered Behavioral Technician, where I developed specialized strategies to support students with behavioral challenges. This experience has shaped my approach to teaching, allowing me to integrate behavioral techniques alongside academic lessons. Throughout my career, I have taught every subject at the elementary and middle school levels, making me highly adaptable to various learning styles and needs. I am dedicated to helping students not only succeed academically but also build the skills they need to navigate the challenges of growing up.

In my lessons, I focus on creating a well-rounded learning experience that meets the unique needs of each student. For academic subjects, I tailor the content to the student’s current grade level and learning style, ensuring that lessons are engaging, interactive, and easy to understand. Whether it’s reinforcing foundational skills in math, helping with reading comprehension, or providing support in writing, I adapt each lesson to make sure the student builds confidence and mastery of the material.
Along with academics, I integrate strategies to help students with ADHD or similar challenges regulate their behavior and improve their focus. I introduce techniques such as breaking tasks into smaller, manageable steps, setting clear and achievable goals, using visual aids or timers, and encouraging positive reinforcement. I also help students develop better time management and organizational skills, which are crucial for success both inside and outside the classroom.
The goal is to create a balanced approach that addresses academic needs while also supporting emotional and behavioral growth. By the end of each lesson, students will not only have a better grasp of their subjects but also the tools they need to stay focused, organized, and motivated.
