I have more than 26 years of experience in both theearly Childhood classroom and the higher edu action classroom working with pre-service teachers. I am an award-winning professor with numerous published books, professional international presentations, and was a guest lecturer at Harvard University.

I make learning fun! From young children (3-12) to early childhood educators who need support in the field, I use music to to engage the senses, help focus, and self-control resulting in academic growth and improved self-confidence.
A typical lesson with me foryounger children will focus on the area(s) in which the child needs support. For example, if I’m working with a child whose vocabulary is limited,together we can use music to learn new vocabulary, increase self-confidence so the child will be more comfortable actively engaging in classes with his/her peers, and learning new concepts.
For early childhood pre-service teachers, I can work with you to create integrated lesson plans that include music as well as other senses. The more of our senses we use to learn, the more we retain the information.
Music-integrated lessons are also
effective with students who have disabilities, learning delays, etc. including autism, selective mutism, and ADHD.
