I truly believe the best way to teach something (especially confusing technical information or DAW work) is by getting on the students' level. In particular, communicating in a way that is relatable, rather than more "know-it-all", always results in a better outcome. These lessons are for anyone who wants to learn the basics of DJing. You may be interested in performing at events/parties/concerts, etc., or you may just be interested in DJing as purely a hobby. Either way, we can find the right path to your success, together!

Perfect! Zak is extremely knowledgeable and patient. He makes you feel at ease. He’s a great teacher. Time passes quickly, he makes learning fun and you learn so much with every lesson. I can’t imagine learning how to DJ with anyone else and would highly recommend him for any subject matter he teaches.
Perfect! Zak is a great teacher. He’s clearly very knowledgeable and was able to meet me where I’m at with my beginner skill level. I definitely recommend Zak and will be taking more lessons from him for sure!
Perfect! Zak was an excellent teacher! Setting up an appointment with him was very seamless and easy… he was very knowledgeable about the CDJs and taught me valuable DJ skills I will be using in the future. He made concepts easy to understand and explained things very well. 10/10 recommend!
Perfect! Zak has been extremely helpful and patient with each step as I'm learning from scratch. Learning with him feels like a jam session with a friend who happens to be a pro. If you're serious about DJing, Zak's your guy.

Zak is the perfect teacher for students of all levels!! His deep knowledge of music production allows him to break down intricate topics into understandable concepts. He's set you up with everything you need to succeed (most of which you didn't realize!). 10/10 would recommend.
I have worked with Zak for many years. His knowledge in the production field never ceases to amaze me. He is constantly seeking out new techniques/methods of production and is always willing to take the time to teach and explain until the concept is completely grasped. He is a real class-act!
Zak is so patient and really took the time to walk through everything with me. He wouldn’t get frustrated when I could not pick up something as fast, and honestly he makes you really excited about what you’re doing. Couldn’t recommend him enough.
