About Iona
I am a student and have been tutoring for the past year alongside my studies. Last summer I attended an early farming age excavation in Georgia, as well as an iron-age survey and dig in the Scottish Highlands, giving me valuable practical skills in archaeology. At A-level I studied History, Mathematics and Psychology and have continued to teach these subjects.

Tutoring is a fantastic way to connect with students, to consolidate what is taught in classroom-style lessons and to expand on that in a more detailed and tailored style. I believe that all students, from KS2 to A-level, have to potential to improve their personal performance. Accordingly, I adopt a style of teaching which encourages the student to develop their independent thought and their own methods to reach a genuine understanding.
