About Sebastian
Hi! My name’s Sebastian, and I’ve been tutoring for over three years, most recently with Explore Learning, where I worked closely with students of all ages and abilities—both in person and online. During that time, I developed a strong understanding of how to adapt my teaching style to each learner, whether they needed help building confidence, preparing for exams, or catching up on core maths skills. I love tutoring because I’ve seen how the right support can completely transform a student’s attitude towards maths. It’s not just about getting the right answer—it’s about understanding why it works and feeling proud of that progress. I create a friendly, encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that’s how real learning happens.

My goal is to help students become independent, resilient learners who are not just prepared for assessments, but also confident in their everyday use of maths.
